UFC Fight Night results: Whittaker KO’s Aliskerov to remain in title hunt

Sports

Robert Whittaker meets Ikram Aliskerov in the middleweight main event of UFC Fight Night on Saturday in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The main card at Kingdom Arena is on ABC and ESPN+ at 3 p.m. ET, with prelims on ESPN and ESPN+ at noon.

Whittaker (26-7), a former UFC champion, is coming off a unanimous decision win over Paulo Costa in February. Whittaker is No. 4 in the ESPN 185-pound rankings.

Aliskerov (15-1) has won seven fights in a row, the last two in the UFC. He took the bout on short notice last week after Whittaker’s scheduled opponent, Khamzat Chimaev, withdrew.
