Charlie Sheen’s neighbour arrested after ‘assaulting actor in Malibu home’

Former Two And A Half Men star Charlie Sheen was assaulted by a neighbour in Los Angeles, according to police.

A woman was arrested following the incident, which reportedly took place in Sheen’s home on Wednesday at about 1pm.

“Upon contacting the parties involved, deputies identified Charlie Sheen as a victim of assault,” police confirmed.

Electra Schrock was arrested for assault with a deadly weapon, force likely to create great bodily injury and residential burglary.

According to showbiz news outlet TMZ, the woman forced her way into his house when he opened the door.

TMZ reports she ripped his shirt and tried to strangle him – but Sheen was not taken to hospital.

The US authorities said Ms Schrock will appear in court in Los Angeles on Friday.

At the peak of his career, Sheen was reportedly the highest-paid actor on TV, earning around £1.2m per episode of Two And A Half Men.

But Sheen was axed from the sitcom after making derogatory comments about the show’s creator, Chuck Lorre, and was replaced by Ashton Kutcher.

Two And A Half Men, which started in 2003 with Sheen playing hedonistic bachelor Charlie Harper, continued until 2015 with Kutcher playing a different lead character alongside Sheen’s former co-stars, Jon Cryer and Angus T Jones.
