Ukraine War: Poland welcomes one million refugees

Pressure is growing on Poland’s resources as more than one million refugees flood in from Ukraine.

Warsaw has welcome around 15% of its previous population.

The authorities have allowed refugees to cross the border freely – and many Poles have welcomed Ukrainians into their homes.
